VARANASI
Varanasi, or Benaras, (also known as Kashi) is one of the oldest living cities in the world. Varanasi`s Prominence in Hindu mythology is virtually unrevealed. Mark Twain, the English author and literature, who was enthralled by the legend and sanctity of Benaras, once wrote : “Benaras is older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend and looks twice as old as all of them put together. ”The center of action in Varanasi can be found at the Banaras ghats — a series of giant steps leading to the Ganges River. In the morning, the devout descend the stairs to wash away their sins in the holy water, and at night, they return for fire-fueled prayer ceremonies.Another important landmark of Varanasi popularly known as Sarnath is renowned as the place where Lord Buddha illustrated Dharma. It is amongst the most prominent Buddhist sites all around the world. You can also witness the humongous pillar of Dharmekh Stupa. Also, the visual brilliance of the Ashoka Pillar would be a treat to your eyes. Varanasi is truly an alluring site that captivates travelers with its holiness and tranquility.

NARMADA PARIKRAMA
Originating from the Amarkantak range in Madhya Pradesh, Narmada is the fifth largest river in India and the largest one in Gujarat. It traverses Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat and meets the sea in the Gulf of Khambat after covering a distance of 1,312 kilometres (815 miles).Narmada is a sacred river originating in the Maikal Hills of central India from a place called Amarkantak. Parikrama is a Sanskrit word derived from the root ‘pari’ meaning around and ‘krama’ meaning going. And hence, Narmada Parikrama means circumambulating the river.
The importance of the Narmada River as sacred is testified by the fact that the pilgrims perform a holy pilgrimage of a Parikrama or Circumambulation of the river. The Narmada Parikrama, as it is called, is considered to be a meritorious act that a pilgrim can undertake.
This 21 nights and 22 days itinerary takes the tourists to a tour of Narmada Parikrama in a comprehensive way. It covers the journey in two states Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. The tour lets the pilgrims explore beautiful temples, sacred bathing sites and ashrams. Char Dham means Four Dhams i.e. four religious places. All four temple shrines are located in Garhwal Himalayas range of Uttarakhand. Char Dham in Uttarakhand is a collective term used for religious circuit covering Holy hindu pilgrimage centres of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri. This is considered as most sacred religious places to be visited by Hindus, to get rid of their sins and pave path to ultimate goal of human life – the Moksha, ie redemption from cycle of birth & death in this world.
